316L Stainless steel

For the manuafacture of all accessible components of its steelwatches, TISSOT® has selected a very high quality stainless steelfrom the 316L family.

The advantages of this steel are its high corrosionresistance and excellent durability. For example, certain steelsused in the medical field for the manufacture of implants also belongto the 316L family.

Sapphire crystal

Sapphire is manufactured from aluminium oxide. Transparent and colourless, it can only be scratched or cut with a diamond.
Due to its extreme hardness, sapphire is virtually immune to deterioration or distortion, scratch proof and resistant to wear and chemical attack. Polished with diamond powder, sapphire is perfectly transparent. Tissot sapphire crystals are made in Switzerland by Comadur (a company of Swatch Group).

Wherever in the world a Tissot watch is purchased, it has a two-year guarantee valid with any Tissot official dealer worldwide. Local customer service personnel are regularly updated on new products at the Tissot training centre in Switzerland to ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction. Completing this picture of excellence is a stringent, comprehensive testing process for every Tissot watch. If you buy from other than an authorized dealer, essentially your watch has no warranty.
